How do we use your data?

We want to make sure that you are clear about how we use the information you provide to us through the app. For more information read on, or refer to our privacy policy.

What do you use my survey answers for?

We amass all the survey answers we receive from you and our other Bees and analyse them for trends. Our clients want to understand your views on the topics you answer questions on, and our analysis helps them to interpret these views. This analysis goes into making better products, services and experiences for our clients’ customers in the long run.

Do you sell my personal data?

No, we do not. We keep personal data about you separate from your survey answers. The only information our clients are able to see is your age, gender and the country you live in (e.g. 25, female, England). This is not enough to identify you, so you can rest assured in your anonymity when answering surveys.

However, if you include any personal data in your survey answer (e.g. by writing your name or other information that can be used to identify you in your survey answer), or in photos or videos (e.g. by holding up some form of ID to the camera) we will not be able to remove this, as we are automatically processing large volumes of submissions.

Please therefore do not provide any information that can be used to identify you or anyone else in your survey answers. Also, please do not provide your face or anyone else’s in photo or video submissions unless we specifically ask for it.

Do you transfer my photos or videos outside the UK?

Yes, our clients may be located anywhere in the world, and they will be able to access any photos or videos you submit from where they are based. If you are uncomfortable with this, please do not submit any photos or videos of yourself or others via surveys.
